XS Sights is once again coming out with new sets of their R3D and DXT2 Big Dot night sights, this time for a couple of new and old Smith & Wesson semi-automatic pistols. XS Sights’ DXT2 Big Dot will now be made available for the Smith & Wesson CSX aluminum alloy framed single-action compact pistol as well as the M&P M2.0 Optics Ready pistol. Meanwhile, the R3D sight, known for its more traditional sight setup, will be available for the M&P M2.0 OR pistol as well. New Night Sights for the S&W CSX and M&P M2.0 OR Pistols from XS Sights
Fort Worth, Texas (October 11, 2022) – XS® Sights is pleased to introduce night sights for the Smith & Wesson® CSX™ and M&P® M2.0™ Optics Ready pistols. Owners of these popular Smith & Wesson pistols can now upgrade their factory sights for XS’s self-illuminating sights which enable faster and more accurate target acquisition in any light.
DXT2 Big Dot for S&W CSX and M&P M2.0 Optics Ready
The company’s flagship DXT2 Big Dot sights are now available for the S&W CSXand the M&P M2.0 Optics Ready. The Big Dot sights are available with an orange or yellow front sight and deliver ultra-fast target acquisition in any light, thanks to the industry-leading size of the front sight with Glow Dot and tritium center. The V-notch rear sight with vertical white stripe and tritium inset facilitates a dot-the-“i” sight picture that is fast and instinctive in high-stress situations.
R3D for S&W M&P M2.0 Optics Ready
XS is now offering R3D night sights with green or orange Glow Dot front sights for the S&W M&P M2.0 Optics Ready full-size and compact pistols in 9mm, 40 S&W, 45 ACP, and 10mm. Featuring a three-dot notch and post sight picture, the R3D front sight is equipped with XS’ proprietary Glow Dot technology. In addition to absorbing ambient light, the Glow Dot is constantly charged by the tritium center which makes it glow brighter than the rear sights, driving focus to the front sight and downrange threat.
The R3D offers a high-contrast sight picture in bright and low light settings. The rear notch is
15% wider than the front sight which allows more light around the front blade for faster indexing and more accurate alignment. The blacked out rear sight reduces glare and keeps focus on the front sight. It also has a rear sight ledge for one-handed slide manipulation.
