We’re back again with another TFB Staff writer interview on the TFB Behind The Gun Podcast! This week I’ve brought in one of our newer writers Lucas D! Lucas D is an avid hunter, competitive shooter, and deep sea fisherman who’s got a lot of experience within the firearms industry on both the retail side of things as well as the industry side of things. While Lucas really loves to try out and test competition guns like the recently released Springfield Prodigy, and BUL Armory’s series of competition pistols, he also has a ton of knowledge when it comes to optics and the process behind both large and small-scale Cerakote application. Lucas D gives us a few tips and tricks today for accomplishing consistent results at home as well as some business advice for those who might be interested in selling their Cerakote services to others so that customers always come back happy and satisfied with the job you’ve done for them. Be sure to let him know if you have any questions in the comments below or reach out to him over on the official TFB/TFBTV Discord channel!

TFB Behind The Gun Podcast Episode #43: Cerakote Talk with TFB Staff Writer Lucas D
On Today’s episode of the TFB Behind The Gun Podcast, we have TFB Staff Writer Lucas D. I met Lucas a number of years back during a trip out to Oregon, the home of many great optics companies. While I was there, I had the chance to chat with Lucas who has a ton of experience on both the retail firearm sales side of things as well as a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of custom Cerakote jobs. If you’ve ever been interested in learning about the Cerakote process, how consistent results are achieved, and just how much work goes into making a repeatable product on a large scale, Lucas is here to explain the ins and outs of the entire process from start to finish. In addition, we talk a bit about how Lucas was hired on as a writer for TFB (hint: basically the same way as every other writer), as well as some of his opinions on the competitive shooting world that he’s invested in, as well as his thoughts on how his view on firearms has changed during his time within the industry as a reviewer of firearms. Please welcome TFB Staff Writer Lucas D to the show!

If you’ve said that buying a silencer is too expensive, too long of a wait, or that the paperwork is too confusing, you’re not alone. Buying a silencer is a big deal, and we don’t take it lightly either! But it’s the easiest it’s ever been!
