SIG Sauer has just announced that they’ll be expanding the list of customized offerings even further for the P320 lineup with the introduction of the new P320 RAZE 3.9″ Custom Works slide assembly. This new slide assembly will come with ready-to-mount optics, suppressor height night sights, a durable Nitron finish, and a removable flush-fit optics plate with top accessible screws in contrast to the bottom tensioned screws on other P320 slides. Most interesting to me about the new RAZE slide is its new optics cover plate. Previously, you had to remove the slide and extractor spring guide in order to remove the top optics cover plate which I always found to be a bit odd. The RAZE slide does away with this and instead allows you to remove and replace the optics cover plate like you would on any other optics-ready handgun which should make things a lot easier for those who are new to mounting optics on their handguns.
