HUXWRX (formerly OSS Suppressors) has introduced a new muzzle device, a blast deflector called Blastphemy. The new HUXWRX Blastphemy can be attached over the company’s HX-QD series of muzzle brakes and flash hiders, and like other blast deflectors, it redirects the gasses exiting the muzzle device forward. The Blastphemy is designed to redirect the blast forward protecting the shooter and bystanders from micro-concussions and overpressure. Additionally, it doubles as a thread protector for your muzzle device. It is ideal for shooting against cover and/or in the prone position.
HUXWRX Blastphemy blast deflector is made out of 17-4 stainless steel and has a QPQ (Quench Polish Quench) nitrided finish. This material and finish combination should allow it to resist corrosion really well. The HUXWRX Blastphemy can be used on firearms of up to and including .338 caliber. The overall length of the Blastphemy blast deflector is 3.28″ (8.33 cm), the outside diameter is 1.6″ (4.06 cm) and it weighs in at 6.08 oz (172 g).
