Volquartsen Firearms has just announced the expansion of their semi-automatic rimfire pistol line with the introduction of the new ENV-HMR pistol chambered in 17 HMR. The success of the 22LR ENV showed Volquartsen and its customers the clear benefits of the platform and now Volquartsen is further expanding on that capability with a hotter, flatter shooting cartridge maintaining all the great features found on the 22LR version of the pistol.

New ENV-HMR 17 HMR Pistol from Volquartsen
Carroll, IA – Volquartsen Firearms continues to expand their pistol line with the addition of the ENV-HMR pistol.
“Following the success of the 22 LR ENV it was time to step it up a notch. The ENV-HMR does exactly that – more energy, more firepower. The ENV-HMR offers 17 HMR ballistics in the same compact ENV configuration. It’s as versatile in the field as it is fun on the range.” commented product development specialist Kolby Pavlock.
Perfect for small game, varmint control, or range day. The ENV-HMR features the Volquartsen aluminum 17 HMR receiver with an integral 0 MOA Picatinny rail and a 9″ Lightweight barrel. The barrel is threaded 1/2 x 28 for the addition of a suppressor or compensator. The barreled action is then fit into a DEEP SIX Chassis System that offers compact versatility.
It incorporates all the current AR-15 attachment standards for a new level of function.
In addition to the above features, the ENV-HMR will also include Type III hard anodization on its receiver and chassis, an SB Tactical folding arm brace, TG2000 Trigger Group, and a 9″ lightweight carbon fiber wrapped barrel. The new ENV pistol should be available to order or customize now and will start retail pricing around the $1,550 mark.
