The L129A1 is a semi-automatic high-precision designated marksmanship rifle.

L129A1 Sharpshooter Rifle is chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO. With a weight of 9 lbs 14 oz, it can be taken on patrol and therefore fills the gap between the regular service rifle and the sniper rifle. Below you see the SA80 rifle, using the 5.56x45mm ammo.
