I usually have to get close to an AK to see if the rivets have been pressed in too hard.  So I guess this one is kind of a win-win?  Granted I’ve seen worse, but those rear rivets aren’t looking too hot.  Plus, I’m not sure what I expected grip-wise, but it certainly wasn’t whatever plastic that is.

AKs like this are what I recommend people buy, and then re-receiver as an SBR.  As someone who owned a 12.5″ donor Draco, I can promise you these aren’t fun to shoot as pistols.  Well, unless your goal is to turn money into noise inaccurately.  If that’s the case, then these are great at that.  This one just happens to take things one step further with, well whatever aesthetic this is.

In recent years precious metals collecting has become more popular, and during this time more and more of these guns have popped up.  Do I think this is the way you should invest in precious metals?  Absolutely not.  Is this gun worth anything close to the $3k price tag?  As always I leave it up to you, the readers, to decide.
