Anderson Manufacturing introduced the second generation of their AM-10 .308 Win guns at NRAAM 2022. Initially, this product line consisted of three rifles – Battle Rifle, Ranger and Marksman XL. A couple of days ago, the company announced the addition of a new member to the AM-10 family of firearms, the AM-10 Gen2 Breacher pistol.

The all-new GEN 2 Series is an ultra-refined, power-packed family of .308 firearms that are exceptionally accurate. They are fully compatible with today’s most popular AR-10 uppers and lowers, giving you the confidence to run the GEN 2 right out of the box. And the versatility to customize your firearm – your way – without compromise.
The upper and lower receivers of Anderson Manufacturing AM-10 Gen2 Breacher pistol are made of forged 7075 T6 aluminum and have a Type 3 hard anodized finish. The lower receiver has a flared magazine well and is compatible with AR-15 pistol grips. The gun comes with a Magpul K2 pistol grip, SB Tactical SBA3 brace and a Magpul PMAG20 Gen3 magazine. The pistol has a DPMS upper rail height and comes with an 11.5″ M-LOK handguard. The 12.5″ barrel is made of 4150 CMV steel, has a black nitrided finish, 1:10″ twist rate, is threaded with the 5/8-24 thread pitch and comes with an A2 birdcage flash hider installed. The AM-10 Gen2 Breacher is a direct impingement firearm with a mid-length gas system. The overall weight of the Breacher pistol is 8lbs.
