You may be cool, but not riding on the side of a light helicopter in downtown Tampa cool. Luckily they’re only firing blanks, but you wouldn’t know without the facts behind each and every Photo Of The Day here at The Firearm Blog. As if that wasn’t enough, the U.S. Special Operations Command soldiers arrived by boat as well.

Here you can see them fire blank rounds from a helicopter during a Special Operations Forces (SOF) demonstration in Downtown Tampa, Florida, during SOF Week in May 2022. The SOF Week is the premier gathering for the SOF community and industry, This year they brought together more than 11,000 attendees, including representatives from more than 100 countries.

@Swiss Guy That one dude is the oldest guy on the team, and likely retires soon or gets a staff gig. If he doesn’t already have one and is just filling in for the show. Also the rig accentuates his appearance, and he can probably still perform to standard and has useful experience. The rest are obviously young and fit.
