POTD: U.S. Marines Mission Readiness Exercise (MRX)

    Mission Readiness Exercise

The one and only Photo Of The Day is back and above you’re looking at a U.S.Marine with the 1st Battalion, 25th Marines, 4th Marine Division. He participated in the Mission Readiness Exercise (MRX) in the summer of 2019, in Port Royal, VA, United States. His rifle is fully loaded with about everything except a magazine.

It’s a fine day for a long walk in full gear! Nobody seems to be freezing.

Marines with 1st Battalion, 25th Marines, 4th Marine Division, participate in a manuver under fire drill during the Mission Readiness Exercise (MRX). The Reserve battalion is slated to continue an intense training schedule in preparation for their Unit Deployment Program (UDP).

At night you need night vision. During the day sunglasses are better.

If you would like to revisit previous POTDs just use TFB’s internal search engine, it’s a great tool to find more images of what you’re looking for.
