POTD: Snipers of Royal Danish Army in Latvia
Another Photo Of The Day and we have snipers of the Royal Danish Army fire at targets from an uneven platform during the Latvia International Snipers Competition. This was part of Defender Europe at Forward Operating Site Adazi, Latvia, on May 13, 2022.
Below we see U.S. Army Sgt. John Barrett, and U.S. Army Spc. Parker Henss, snipers both assigned to 3rd Battalion, 66th Armor Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, as they spot targets behind cover.
Defender Europe 22 is a series of U.S. Army Europe and Africa multinational training exercises in Eastern Europe. The exercise demonstrates U.S. Army Europe and Africa’s ability to conduct large-scale ground combat operations across multiple theaters in support of NATO.
