KelTec PMR30
In 2008, Kel-Tec’s Chief Design Engineer, Tobias Obermeit had a vision to build a semi-auto .22WMR pistol that holds 30 rounds in a flush-fit magazine. Roughly based on an early, futuristic looking George Kellgren design, the PMR30 was released in 2010 with high praise and stands out as one of the most innovative handguns in the world today.
The KelTec PMR30 isn’t known as one of the most reliable .22 WMR pistols out there but it does have the distinction of being one of the few semi-auto .22 WMR pistols on the market today. Hopefully, there will be even more options and perhaps even an updated model from KelTec coming soon.
