Many of the offerings of Gunwerks and their Skunkwerks special projects division are complete packages, ready to be used in their intended applications. These packages usually include things like a scope, ammunition, and storage/transportation solution complementing the main item, the rifle. Now, the new Gunwerks TRAK is a rather interesting and unusual package as in addition to the scoped rifle, ammunition and backpack, it also includes an eBike!

Introducing The TRAK, the latest edition of the Skunkwerks series of limited run rifle packages from Gunwerks. We built & assembled The TRAK in collaboration with several brand partners with the mission to provide the ultimate bike hunting kit to take you farther, get you there faster, and do it all quietly, ultimately saving you time and energy to focus your efforts on the hunt, not the approach.

Let’s take a look at each of the Gunwerks TRAK package items.

The Rifle

The Gunwerks TRAK is a bolt action rifle built with a Gunwerks Titanium GLR Action and MDT HNT26 magnesium/carbon fiber chassis with a folding stock. The rifle is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and has a 16″ carbon fiber wrapped barrel. The Gunwerks TRAK rifle comes with a Vortex Razor LHT 4.5-22×50 FFP scope installed and 100 rounds of Hornady ammunition. The overall length is 35.75″ and 27.5″ with the stock deployed and folded respectively. The LOP is set at 12.5″ but can be adjusted via spacers. The overall weight of the rifle with the scope is 6lbs 9oz.

The Backpack

Gunwerks TRAK package comes with a Kifaru Hellbender backpack which features a Kifaru Duplex Lite frame and a custom Kifaru Skunkwerks rifle carry scabbard which is designed to fit the folded Gunwerks TRAK rifle and has compartments for a suppressor and ammunition. The volume of the bag is 37 liters, it weighs 2.9 lbs and has the following dimensions: 10.5″x24″x8″.

The eBIKE

Last but not least, the Gunwerks TRAK package includes a QuietKat Apex eBike. This medium-frame eBike features a 1000W motor powered by a 768Wh lithium battery offering up to 50 miles of range. It also features a Kinekt premium suspension seat post, Tannus Armour tire liners, 4-piston Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, 9-speed SRAM drivetrain and 2000 lumen handlebar light. This eBike is capable of carrying up to 325 pounds of gear. Gunwerks describe the bike as a modern-day workhorse.

The Gunwerks TRAK package is listed on the company’s website at $16,895.

A hunter riding an eBike armed with a rifle made of titanium, magnesium and carbon fiber is the complete opposite of the classic hunter image, isn’t it?
