Here we get to know the M110A1 SDMR (Squad Designated Marksman Rifle) a little better as U.S. Army National Guard Soldiers with the Second Battalion of the 113th Infantry Regiment train in live-fire target practice. Above you can see the soldiers using the secondary iron sights. How often do you use yours and train with them? Or do you prefer a red dot optic as secondary?

The shooting range is the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ, and the event was in April 2022.

The M110A1 SDMR Sniper System is a semi-automatic precision rifle that is chambered for the 7.62×51mm NATO round.
