Welcome everyone to the 139th edition of ‘Hot Gat or Fudd Crap?’, one of our many series here on TFB. If you’re new to the series, this is where we look at the most obscure firearms that are actually for sale and ask the question – is this Gat a sweet deal or only has a Fudd appeal?  Each week the TFB staff weighs in with their thoughts, but readers get the final say in the poll at the bottom of each article.

In our last edition, our poll showed that you, the readers, decided the Zombie-themed AR-15 was just fudd crap.

At this time the original auction remains up with the Zombie Killer Green KS-47 still up for grabs.  We can only hope this gun can find its way to a new safe and responsible basement in the near future.

In this week’s edition of HGFC, we look at an LV-themed SIG P365 chambered in 9mm. As is tradition, this high fashion themed gat is currently up for sale on GunBroker for $775 Buy It Now.

Let’s see what the Staff had to say about this week’s offering:

Why is James Reeves selling his P365?” – Tom

“You rarely see these open carried on New Bond Street in London.” – Eric B.

“Does Louis know?” – Matt M.

“Is it bad that I’d rather have “Deadpool’s gun” than this?” – Doug E.

I would think engraving over another already existing engraving would be something you’d want to avoid, but hey, what do I know about high fashion.  Just like the seller indicated the engraving on this looks deep.  Deep enough that you might want to check it for rust or lint at least once a month.

Engraving aside, when released, the P365 took the world by storm.  Since then it’s moved into the variants area, something SIG USA is quite fond of.  While I like the option for say, a slide safety vs no slide safety, the other dozen or so options in the P365 lineup (like the Spectre) I’d say are just for show.  Maybe there will be another game-changing model released, but I’d bet under a different P-Series number.

So is this P365 worth $775 for the extra LV laser engraving?  Or are you better off getting a stock P365 and just leaving it alone? As always I leave it up to you, the readers, to decide.
