Soldiers of Enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group Latvia have now completed training activities for Exercise CRYSTAL ARROW 2021.

International military exercise CRYSTAL ARROW is a clear demonstration of Alliance solidarity, determination, and ability to defend NATO’s population and territory against any possible aggression. Partnership between nations builds cohesion and combat effectiveness, and enhances interoperability as part of NATO assurance and deterrence measures.

Below: The vz. 58 in 7.62×39mm was manufactured in Czechoslovakia, here shown with the paratrooper folding stock. This is a real “back to basics” rifle, and kind of a challenge to shoot with iron sights and has a fairly heavy recoil for such a light rifle.
