The NEW Aimpoint Duty is Now Available and Shipping!

Back in January at SHOT 2022, TFB covered the announcement of the new less expensive Aimpoint Duty red dot sight. The Aimpoint Duty shaves off a few features to make it more budget-friendly. When compared to the much more expensive Aimpoint Micro T1 and T2, the windage and elevation adjustments have been seated down flush with the body of the optic and the sight comes with protective flip-up caps with a rear transparent cap. Aimpoint has just announced that the Aimpoint Duty RDS is now shipping from their website, as well as their network of distributors and dealers across the nation.

Check Prices on Aimpoint Duty Red Dot Sights

While the TFB team was taking a first-hand look at the new Aimpoint Duty at SHOT Show’s Industry Day at the range earlier this year, we weren’t exactly sure what type of Torx wrench would be used for the windage and elevation adjustments but according to the website, the optic will make use of a T10 wrench which will be included in the package. The Aimpoint Duty RDS is available now and is being sold for the same price as what was announced at SHOT Show 2022 – $499. What are your thoughts on this new optic? Is this priced competitively enough for you to pick up? Let us know down in the comments!

As soon as I see a red dot that's $500, I say just get an Eotech at that point.

It's basically a T2 at a much more affordable price point. True waterproof rated. Simple go to war, "minimal chance of failure" feature set. Doesn't have snake oil failure points like "phantom power control" a.k.a. "shake and BAKED", nor does it have "solar crackup".
