TFB’s Photo Of The Day is a daily article series that features images of firearms in various places. Over the years, it’s developed into a series of articles that thousands of our readers enjoy. Today the subject is carrying a 1911. According to Springfield Armory, the Enhanced Micro Pistol (EMP) is the smallest 1911 in the world.
This one also has the new “Ronin” treatment, which offers a two-tone finish, made up of a carbon steel slide with a hot salt blue finish and satin silver Cerakote finish on the lightweight aluminum frame. On top of that, you get crossed cannon wood grips, a fiber optic front sight with Tactical Rack rear sight and an extended beavertail grip safety with memory bump.
