TFB Podcast Roundup 83: Everyone is Worried About the Future

Hello and welcome to TFB Podcast Roundup 36! Sport shooting is a criminally underrated activity and I really wish more people would get into it. That being said, I don’t really blame a lot of people for either not wanting to gear up to do it or not having the nerves to go to their first match. However, what I can say is that by not trying it at all you’re really doing yourself a huge disservice even if you never plan on continuing in the sport down the road. Today I’ve gathered a handful of recent episodes from some of my favorite sports shooting or competition shooting podcasts so that those of you who are interested or already into shooting sports can glean knowledge and listen to discussions on the topic from the comfort of your own home or car.

[Throwback Episode] The Ready Room – Getting Into Competition Shooting

    Length: 67 Minutes

We mostly talk about USPSA competitions, which is a pistol shooting based style, but what we talk about translates to all other shooting competition styles. Travis is not a Grand Master but he has been doing well in local competitions as of late and getting into the sport is still fresh in his mind. We talk about what it takes to get into the sport, the work you need to put in, but also how easy it can be to dip your toes in. This sort of endeavor can seem intimidating at first but it’s not as bad as it seems. Competition Shooting can be extremely addicting and a great hobby for the entire family. We hope you enjoy this awesome episode!
