Today we have a suppressed AS Val and some other photos from the Indra 2018 exercise between India and Russia. The sight on the AS Val seems to be mounted extremely high.

    At the main stage of the exercise, Russian and Indian troops will practise joint counterterrorism actions in urban terrain basing on the practical experience gained.

    Russian and Indian troops carried a demonstration exercise to liberate a building seized by terrorist within the Indra 2018 exercise. According to the scenario, a group of terrorists seized a building and took hostages.

    At this stage of the exercise, scouts of the two countries fulfilled the task separately, alternately demonstrating to their colleagues individual and collective actions to block illegal armed formations and liberate the building.

    At the second stage of the exercise, in order to neutralize a terrorist detachment, a joint international operation was planned and conducted, so that Russian and Indian units blocked the house and mopped up militants, and released the hostages.

    At the main stage of the exercise, Russian and Indian troops will practise joint counterterrorism actions in urban terrain basing on the practical experience gained.

    The Indra 2018 Russian-Indian exercise has been held in India (Uttar Pradesh) since November 18. The exercise involves 250 servicemen of a motorized rifle unit of the combined-arms army and 250 units of the 31st armored division of the Armed Forces of India. Russian servicemen perform tasks on armored vehicles, which for a period has been provided to them by the host country.
