A descendant from the Razor family of the suppressors, the new Razor556 from Rugged Suppressors is a lightweight, full-auto capable, reduced blowback suppressor. The new suppressor shares the same belt-fed rating that a lot of other Rugged suppressors carry and is also priced quite affordably when compared to some other options currently on the market.

The New Razor556 from Rugged Suppressors
The new suppressor is machined from heat-treated 17-4 stainless steel bar stock with full circumference welded stellite baffles. This allows the Rzor556 to absorb and resist a lot of heat and adds to its durability. Should your suppressor become damaged beyond repair, the required ATF engraving has been strategically placed over the thickest cross-section of the tube for fast and easy replacement.
Like Rugged’s other suppressors, the Razor556 is belt-fed rated with no barrel length restrictions. In comparison to the Razor762, the Razor556 features both a different baffle count and different baffle spacing internally. The Razor556 also uses Rugged’s Dual Taper Locking System which prevents both wobbling and carbon lockup on the mount. The locking system allows for a friction lock to keep the suppressor where it should be and incorporates a go/no-go gauge so you can confirm that your suppressor is properly attached.
Rugged’s dedicated 5.56mm suppressor has decreased blowback, recoil, and flash mitigation standard while clocking in at only 13.4 oz. This suppressor is an out-of-the-box solution designed specifically to tame the sound impulse at the shooter’s ear of America’s rifle, the AR-15/M-16.
The new Rugged Suppressors Razor556 is currently available through any of Rugged’s nationwide dealers and is sold for an MSRP right at $800 making it fairly affordable as far as suppressors go. What do you guys think about this new offering from Rugged? Let us know down in the comments!
