[IWA 2022] The NEW BUL Axe Series Striker-Fired Pistols
Each of the new Axe series pistols will include a common grip module that has roughly a 1911 grip angle and beavertail, an oversized magazine release, flat triggers, extended controls, 1913 Picatinny rail on the dust cover, and memory pads built right into the grip module for easy repeat indexing. Both pistols come from the factory with a 3-1/2-pound trigger pull. According to BUL, the main focus of the Axe series lies within the slides.
The Axe series will come in two sizes, Compact, and Full Size, and will feature 15 and 17-round magazine capacities respectively. Both the Tomahawk and Cleaver will be compatible with popular aftermarket and stock Glock parts and accessories. If you’re looking to pick one of these hot new striker-fired pistols up, you’ll be interested to know that BUL Armory plans on having both pistols available within the US market as early as April 2022. According to the rep at the BUL Armory booth, pricing will not be available until closer to the release date of the series. What are your thoughts on this new Glock-type offering from BUL Armory? Let us know down in the comments and stay tuned for more coverage from IWA 2022 on both TFB and TFBTV.
