Two days, two guns, and too many burpees. In the past few years, tactical competitions have exploded. More specifically, The Tactical Games has grown from a small, invite-only event to a national schedule of events that draws in major sponsors like Magpul, Firearms Legal Protection, and Staccato. Hundreds of competitors gather for a weekend of hard work and camaraderie. At the heart of it all, however, is the gear. Durable, lightweight gear is what’s most popular, and American Defense Manufacturing just entered a new option built specifically for The Tactical Games. This is the new UIC Lightweight Tactical Competition Carbine.

Built on a billet aluminum, fully ambidextrous upper and lower receiver set, the UIC Lightweight Tactical Competition Carbine is the top of the line Tactical Competition Carbine for ADM. This carbine was built to the specific requirements for The Tactical Games.
ADM’s UIC Lightweight Tactical Competition Carbine
With weight being the number one concern, ADM included several weight-saving features, including a skeletonized magazine well and a lightweight castle nut. The controls are ambidextrous and the bolt release is oversized. The machined billet upper includes a forward assist (feel free to argue below). The bolt carrier group wears a Nitride QPQ finish. The barrel is available in either 14.5″ or 16″. Both options are chambered in .223 Wylde and are capped with a SureFire 3P Eliminator flash hider. They come with a 13.5″ or 15″ M-LOK handguards, depending on your barrel length.
