For fans of the Grey Birch Solutions Foundation chassis who don’t own a 10/22, a new option is available in the form of the Foundation 457. The not-so-secret Foundation 457 has been in the works for a little while and has finally been released but only in limited quantities for the time being (15-20 in stock at the time of writing). The Foundation 457 is intended to work with the CZ 457 series of rimfire rifles and comes with a lot of features that can extend the usefulness of your rifle.

    "Recoil lug". Because when I think of stock shattering recoil, I immediately think of rimfires.

      @Brett baker I have no idea why they call it a recoil lug when on their website they describe it as a rear lug for a more sturdy fit of the gun into the chassis. It doesn't have anything to do with recoil beyond making sure the action stays where it should.

    Most chassis’s are meant to be heavy. This would be great for a super lightweight SBR project with a 457, but too light to be in the ranks with the chassis’s on the market already. Especially if marketed towards competition use. The two piece forend kind of kills it for me too.
