FB Radom had a variety of firearms displayed at their SHOT Show 2022 booth. One of the most anticipated guns of this Polish company in the US market is probably the MSBS GROT family of rifles. Unfortunately, the company could not tell any details concerning the importation of these rifles. What they do start importing to the USA is the VIS-100 M1 pistol which will soon be available via Arms Of America. This is the civilian version of the VIS-100 pistol (formerly known as PR-15) adopted by the Polish military.

VIS-100 is a semi-auto locked-breech pistol with a short barrel recoil mechanism and tilting barrel lockup. The pistol is chambered in 9x19mm and fed from double-stack single-feed magazines of 15 (flush-fit) or  17 round capacity (with the +2 extension shown in the pictures). The aluminum frame of the pistol features 1913 accessory rails. The barrel length is 4.33″, the overall length is 7.75″ and the gun weighs in at 1.5 lbs.

VIS-100 M1 pistols come with fiber optic front sights and red dot sight cut slides (the footprint is not specified). The trigger mechanism is single-action/double-action with an external decocker lever. There is also a firing pin safety. All the controls (decocker, slide release and magazine release) are ambidextrous. The disassembly is done by slightly retracting the slide back, rotating the disassembly lever down and moving the slide assembly forward. The barrel and captive recoil spring can then be removed from the slide.

The FB Radom VIS-100 M1 pistol can be found on the Arms of America website at an MSRP of $739. The estimated start of shipping is Q2 2022. The pistol will be available in black, green, blue/gray and pink color options as shown in the top picture of this article.
