[SHOT 2022] New Products From Strategic Armory Corps
Strategic Armory Corps owns many notable brands, including Armalite, McMillan Firearms, Surgeon Rifles, and AWC Silencers. SAC had a large booth at SHOT Show 2022 with all sorts of products on display.
Surgeon Rifles had their new Surgeon Short Action Chassis on display. The “SSAC” has a folding stock, is compatible with AICS magazines, and has MLOK slots on the fore end for accessory mounting. No price information is available, but a full release is expected at NRAAM 2022.
Surgeon also unveiled a new “budget” rifle in a Magpul Pro chassis. Its price point will be around the $4,000 range rather than the $6,000 range of most other Surgeon rifles. This Magpul Pro model will only be available in .308 Winchester and 6.5 Creedmoor.
Armalite had new releases as well. The AR-10 Super Semi-Automatic Sniper System (SuperSASS) Gen II is now available as a 6.5 Creedmoor. It retains the 20″ barrel of the .308 model, as well as the Magpul PRS stock. Its price point should be around the $3,000 mark.
Armalite’s “new” AR-19 9mm was on display. Small quantities of AR-19s were sold previously, but there was never an official release. It features an 8.5″ barrel in a free floating handguard, Magpul MBUS iron signts, and a KAK Shockwave 2.0 arm brace. Full availability is coming in mid 2022, and the MSRP is around $1,100. And yes, it does take Glock mags!
AWS Silencers did not have any new models to discuss, but a new baffle stack design is coming soon. They also had their Ultra 13 Match rimfire rifle on display. It pairs a PWS T3 Summit straight-pull receiver with an integrally-suppressed AWS barrel. MSRP is $1,799.

That Armalite AR-19 upper receiver looks identical to PSA's.
Naming yourself after and pretending to be 'Springfield Armory'? That I can understand.
SAC better be bringing out a recreational civilian B-83.
