Precision Armament is jumping headfirst into the silencer market with their new AeroMod 22+ suppressor.  This newest addition to their lineup is a completely modular and multi-caliber rated suppressor.  During SHOT 2022 I had a chance to sit down with their product team and have them walk me through the brand new AeroMod 22+ Suppressor.

Precision Armament had this to say about the AEROMOD 22+ Suppressor in the following press statement.

10 years of redefining muzzle device performance has led us to this point.  We did not set out to make a silencer, simply to expand our product lineup.  Instead, the need was sparked by not being satisfied with what the market had to offer.  Our solution is a radically innovative design that bridges the gap between the function of a monolithic core suppressor and the usability of a modular assembly.  The AeroMod22+ is the first model in our family of modular suppressors built around our innovative TriCentric Interface.  The typical complexities associated with modular suppressor designs have been addressed and solved – resulting in a high performance, user serviceable, reliable, and truly game changing suppressor.

The AeroMod uses a ten K-baffle design that threads together using their Thread Together Assembly (TTA).  Twist the stack and the friction lock design ensures the entire stack is tightening evenly and lined up all at once.  Additionally, the threads have a nice tapered shoulder that keeps carbon out of the threads.

The front cap (that attaches to any 1/2×28 threaded muzzle) is serialized and acts as the building block for the rest of the suppressor.  This design could simplify any repair, warranty, or returns.  If any happen to come down the line.
