[SHOT 2022] New CETME L Options From MarColMar

MarColMar Firearms is best known for their revival of the CETME L rifle. This unique gun was used by the Spanish and traces its lineage back to certain other stamped steel roller delayed firearms, though it has its own personality.

The CETME L family of rifles continues to expand. Parts kits for the CETME LC (which has substantial internal changes from the standard L models) ran out, but the dream of short barrels live on. New SBR models are incoming with fixed stocks and 12.5″ barrels. This shorter package is reminiscent of the HK-33K.

CETME L 300 Blackout SBR
.300 Blackout is also being added as a caliber option, joining the standard 223/5.56 models. 300 Blackout rifles were on display in SBR and standard barrel lengths. Both the 300 Blackout and the SBR models are available now.

LV/S variants are still available with SUSAT sights, and LV models have the STANAG mounts but no SUSAT. The LV can accept the Enosa scope which was fielded by the Spanish, or the Hensoldt or Steiner scopes used on the HK-91/93 family of rifles. The LV can also be upgraded to a heavy barrel for an additional $50.

Color options include green, black, FDE, and gray, and a welded picatinny rail is also optional. Purists may opt for the non-railed version, but adding a welded rail makes it easy to mount all sorts of optics.
Various color options are available, including grey
All current production CETME L rifles are labeled “Gen II,” signifying improved finish quality over the original series. This redesign makes magazines drop free. The CETME L is compatible with all standard aluminum and steel AR magazines.

MarColMar firearms are exclusively distributed by MSR Distribution in Las Vegas, Nevada.

They made the CETME L in 300 BLK, what a bunch of madlads.
Sadly I was really hoping to see these guys get hold of the Beretta AR70 kits for rebuilds.

@GhostOfUWOTM8 If they got the twist right, a 12.5” in .300BLK would significantly reduce the likelihood of me buying a MP5 clone.

What I don't get is, they can make these for under $1500, and they're roller-delayed blowback. So why can't we have MP5 for the same money?
