    POTD: Alaska National Guard Aviators

Photo Of The Day – established in 2014 this is our way to show various photos with firearms on a daily basis. There’s always a story to the pictures and hopefully, you’ll learn something new. Below (and above) you have Spc. Michael Moulton, a native of Juneau, Alaska, assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 6th Brigade Engineer Battalion (Airborne), 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, U.S. Army Alaska, pulling security while training with aviators from the Alaska Army National Guard at Neibhur Drop Zone.

If you’ve been out in the wild for some time, I’m sure the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter from the Alaska Army National Guard is a welcome sight.

Medics from the 6th Brigade Engineer Battalion (Airborne), 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, U.S. Army Alaska, carry a simulated casualty to an extraction point.

Our Photo Of The Day will now take a short break, since all these amazing images would only drown in all the news from SHOT Show. We’re back before you know it!
