Glock pistols are popular partially because of their legendary reliability and that is a selling point for Glock pistols many purists will not want to compromise. Timney Triggers has just introduced their latest product, the Glock Flat Trigger Shoe, which is a simple and reliable drop-in replacement for your factory Glock trigger shoe. The new trigger shoe does not change the function of the pistol in any way and doesn’t replace anything other than the trigger shoe itself swapping out the slightly curved stock trigger for a truly flat-faced Timney trigger. This aftermarket part may be a hot item for those who want to maintain the safety features built into the Glock pistol platform but don’t like the feel of a stock trigger.

New Timney Triggers Glock Flat Trigger Shoe now Available
The Timney Enhanced Feel Trigger Shoe answers the call for a trigger shoe that enhances the overall feel of the trigger break by making the trigger feel more comfortable and predictable. The Timney Trigger Shoe matches the historic reliability of the Glock system by providing an improved trigger feel that does not sacrifice Glock’s integrity. With added benefits, such as an adjustable safety take-up (movement), the Timney Enhanced Trigger Feel Shoe allows the user to become more accurate with their pistol.
The Timney Enhanced Trigger Shoe for Glock pistols was engineered and designed to fit all models, from sub-compacts to large frame handguns. The shoe is machined from aluminum and then anodized to create a durable, corrosion-resistant, easy-to-maintain enhanced trigger feel option for Glock pistols.
The new trigger is capable of being installed by the end-user with no gunsmithing needed according to Timney. Being compatible with a wide variety of Glock pistols is another bonus for anyone who wants to try out a new trigger or outright replace one on any of their Glock pistols. The option to change the take-up of the trigger is also a nice feature I think some competition shooters might like. The anodized aluminum Glock flat-faced trigger is sold on the Timney website for $71.99 which is less expensive than some of their competitors but also lacks features other aftermarket trigger companies offer that customers may or may not want.
