There are so many variations when you talk about AK platform rifles. American-made AKs have become more popular over the past few years, but some folks still prefer those made somewhere to the east. Delivering classics to the U.S., Atlantic Firearms is now importing Polish-made AKs from WBP, designating them the Jack Classic Rifle.

The WBP Jack is a result of input and request from customers that loved the WBP Fox series, but wanted a model with a standard AKM rear stock trunnion. The FOX rifle has become a favorite for Kalashnikov enthusiast and a benchmark that other AKs are gauged against.

Made by WBP in Poland, the new Jack Classic Rifle is a fixed-stock AK rifle with wood furniture. It uses a hammer forged chrome lined barrel from FB Radom. The barrel trunnion is also forged, as is the steel that the bolt carrier is machined from. The receiver wears Polish import markings, and a Polish Eagle marking on the rear sight block. The muzzle is threaded 14mmx1 left hand and a bayonet lug is also present. The fire controls are of the original Polish variety, as is the laminated stock set. The Jack rifle comes equipped with a standard AKM rear stock trunnion. Those living in restricted states also have the option of a compliant package.
