HOT GAT or FUDD CRAP? Will the Real Deadpool Please Stand Up?

Welcome everyone to the 123rd edition of ‘Hot Gat or Fudd Crap?’, one of our many series here on TFB. If you’re new to the series, this is where we look at the most obscure firearms that are actually for sale and ask the question – is this Gat a sweet deal or does it only have Fudd appeal? Each week the TFB staff weigh in with their thoughts, but readers get the final say in the poll at the bottom of each article.

In our last edition, our poll showed that you, the readers, decided the Day of the Dead-themed Glock was fudd crap.

“It’s like my 11 year old nephew was Allowed to design a skin in fortnight.” – Tim C.

“It’s an egregious godforsaken eyesore for man-children, sure, but I also boobies so… 7/10 good enough? I guess?” – Will P.

“Don’t make me choose between this and last week’s Day of the Dead Glock…” – Matt M.

The hallmark, as we all know, of any great modified Glock starts with a horribly themed slide backplate.  So we can go ahead and check off that box. Did we save any money to replace the factory sights?  Absolutely not. Because as we all know, Deadpool never used sights anyways.

Possibly more horrifying than the gun itself is the DP#351 on the side of the Glock factory hard case.  Does this mean there are another 350 of these atrocities that have already been sold?  Let’s hope not.  At the end of the day, I was a fan of the Deadpool franchise. However, like all characters and events throughout history, I refuse to use any of them as inspiration for a themed gun.  And if you’re going to do it, at least do it a Desert Eagle.

So is this over-the-top Cerakoted Glock 19 worth just shy of $1,000?  Or is this just too grotesque for your collection?  As always I leave it up to you, the readers, to decide.
