    Unity FAST MRO Mount

As modern shooting techniques change, so must our gear. Recently, shooters have been finding the advantages of a more heads-up shooting position, especially while shooting under NODs. For those who enjoy this position and run a Trijicon MRO, this is the new Unity FAST MRO Mount.

    Unity news @ TFB:

    Unity FAST MRO Mount

FAST™ is a series of optic mounts and platforms that provide end users with a quicker sight picture than standard height mounts. A 2.26” optical centerline height provides faster/easier reticle acquisition while wearing electronic ear-pro/communications headsets, night vision goggles and gas masks and allows for more rapid visual processing of the battlefield by promoting a heads-up posture.  A heads-up posture also helps users maintain a neutral spine position which is more comfortable while wearing helmets, plate carriers, and other heavy gear.

The Unity FAST mount for the Trijicon MRO has a standard height windage-adjustable backup rear iron sight built into the mount. This eliminates the need for a rear flip-up sight and saves rail space. It also uses the FAST offset accessory mounting interface and is compatible with all FTC (Flip-To-Center) Magnifier Mounts. The American Defense Manufacturing QD Auto-Lock Lever is one mounting option that can be bought separately. However, the MRO FAST mount comes with a standard rail-grabber clamp mount. The mount is made from 7075-T6 aluminum, then Type III hard coat anodized for durability.
