POTD: Gardens Illustrated – The Heckler & Koch M110A1

POTD: Gardens Illustrated - The Heckler & Koch M110A1

TFB has been running Photo Of The Day for years, sharing great photos from around the world and the world of firearms. Sometimes the selected pictures involve a lot of action, shooting and flying brass. Sometimes there’s another reason behind the choice. Like today. This photo could easily fit into Gardens Illustrated, don’t you think?

Cotton Puryear, U.S. National Guard, took this photo with the following caption:

A soldier with the Virginia National Guard conducts reconnaissance and sniper training at Fort Pickett, Va., Aug 7, 2021.

The first M110A1 rifles were shipped to the U.S. Army by the spring of 2020.
Recently, there have been quite a lot of good-quality images of the M110A1. Just check these out: Heckler & Koch M110A1 Squad Designated Marksman Rifle, M110A1 CSASS at Hamid Karzai International Airport and The Tabasco Heckler & Koch M110A1 CSASS.
Which is the Garden Gun of your choice?
