TriStar Arms and their popular Bristol side-by-side shotguns have just received two new variants to the lineup – both in 16 gauge. Billed as a balance of “Beauty, Elegance, and Performance” the Bristol lineup of shotguns has been a popular go-to skeet, trap, and upland bird hunting and competition set of shotguns. The 16-gauge variants will follow the previous iterations of the Bristol shotgun and will be offered in both an English case hardened variant as well as a silver variant. Most recently the Bristol SxS shotgun received the highly coveted NASGW Caliber award for the Best New Shotgun Category.

    Laser Engraved Silver Variant

The Bristol 16-gauge shotguns share all of the same features and quality as the other offerings of the lineup. 16-gauge, while somewhat of a unique and less common offering offers shooters a more pleasant experience than 12-gauge while offering more down-range capability than the more common 20-gauge. The 16-gauge Bristol will ship with Skeet, Improved Cylinder, Modified, Improved Modified, and Full choke tubes providing the shooter with a lot of variety right out of the box without needing to shop for additional accessories.

    Case Color English Variant

The main selling point of the Bristol lineup has been “competition grade shotguns with field shotgun pricing” according to the company’s press release on the Bristol from November 2020. While the Bristol is less expensive than your average competition-grade SxS, they will still cost you over $1,000 MSRP with the case color English model retailing for an MSRP of $1,190 and the Silver Walnut variant fetching an MSRP of $1,130. Both shotguns weigh in at 6.55-lbs and have 28″ barrels. For more information visit http://tristararms.com.
