Expanding their MSR (Modern Sporting Rifle) line of AR-pattern rifles, Fierce Firearms has released the F-10 Sidewinder, an AR-10 style rifle, the bigger brother of their F-15 Sidewinder 5.56/223 AR. The company markets this new product to both hunters and tactical shooters “who require an extremely accurate, lightweight rifle that provides quick follow-up shots“. Let’s see what features Fierce Firearms offers in the F-10 Sidewinder.
Fierce Firearms @ TFB:
- Fierce Firearms MAYHEM FX Semi-Auto Shotgun
- Fierce Firearms CT RIVAL Bolt Action Rifle
- Fierce Firearms CARBON FURY Bolt Action Rifle
Like the F-15 Sidewinder, the F-10 is also a side charger (hence the name Sidewinder), with a reciprocating right-side charging handle attached to the bolt carrier which eliminates the need for having a forward assist. The F-10 Sidewinder is available in two caliber options – .308 Winchester and 6.5 Creedmoor. These rifles come with 18″ match grade Fierce C3 Carbon barrels that are equipped with a muzzle brake and have a 1:10″ twist rate for the .308 Win and 1:8″ for 6.5 CM. The company guarantees an impressive 3-shot accuracy of 3/4 MOA.
The F-10 Sidewinder also features a carbon fiber M-LOK handguard with anĀ aluminum full-length top Picatinny rail as well as a carbon fiber pistol grip. The rifle is pretty lightweight weighing in at just 7.5 lbs which is probably achieved by the extensive use of carbon fiber and lightened design of receivers. The F-10 Sidewinder also comes with a TriggerTech Diamond trigger and has an ambidextrous safety selector.
The MSRP of the Fierce Firearms F-10 Sidewinder rifle is $3,295.
