Cabot Guns OAK Collection consists of one of a kind deluxe 1911 pistols and it’s really more like an art gallery than a gun collection. The latest addition to this collection is the Cabot Titan pistol which has been in making for over two years. This masterpiece is engraved by Lee Griffiths, a FEGA master engraver and author of many other fine firearm engravings including other Cabot guns such as the incredible Dragon Fire pistol.

FEGA Master Engraver Lee Griffiths is a titan in the world of hand-engraving. Lee’s origin story resonates with us. His is a phenomenal tale of self-instruction, handmade tools, late night and early morning practice, and a dogged pursuit of perfection.
The engravings on the slide and frame of the Cabot Titan pistol are really amazing. At first glance, it may look like a rather simple deep relief pattern but it’s not. That’s an optical illusion, a holographic effect created by “exquisitely strategic angled engraving” as described by the company.
Cabot Titan is a full/government size pistol chambered in .45 ACP. It is an all-stainless gun featuring a smooth front strap, mainspring housing and top surface of the slide. The grips are made of mammoth molars. And of course, a firearm like this has to have a unique display/storage solution. The Cabot Titan has a custom case styled as a book. The lid of the case, as well as the gun itself, are held in place by built-in rare earth magnets.
Like other Cabot OAK Collection guns, the Cabot Titan is made in one sample and it’s sold out.
