If you’ve ever wanted to get your hands on that sweet forty-mike-mike action and just had no idea how to do it, Big Daddy Unlimited has just announced that they now are selling grenade launchers, barrels, and 40mm rounds to private citizens through their new division Big Daddy Ordnance (BDO). Big Daddy Ordnance will be offering M781 chalk rounds to private citizens that are actually new production rounds and not reloads, with more launcher products to be sold from BDO down the line.

Big Daddy Ordnance Offers M781 40mm Chalk Rounds and Launchers

The sudden appearance of Big Daddy Ordnance shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise. Mike over at Garand Thumb has been known to work with Big Daddy Unlimited and many of his recent videos have featured 40mm chalk rounds and 40mm launchers. Big Daddy Ordnance is actually a rebranding of Texas Machine-Gun & Ordnance (TXMGO) which is an ATF licensed explosives and Destructive Devices manufacturer. TXMGO was acquired by Big Daddy Unlimited and subsequently renamed Big Daddy Ordnance.

The idea is for Big Daddy Ordnance to not only sell new production 40mm rounds but to also offer the rounds as regular inventory items rather than a special production run. In addition, Big Daddy Ordnance has also set its sights on producing other specialty munitions in both 40mm and 37mm calibers. BDO also plans on selling other destructive devices like grenade launchers and their barrels as well as less-lethal ammunition to both private citizens and law enforcement organizations.

Bringing the M781s to market through Big Daddy Ordnance represents a decisive change in how 40mm ammunition is distributed for the civilian market, Previously, ammunition only arrived on the civilian market from military overruns.
