If you’ve been waiting to get your hands on one of KE Arms WWSD rifles then you’re in luck. Brownells has just announced that the KP-15 equipped WWSD 2020 rifle is currently in stock and ready to ship straight from their warehouse to your FFL. The WWSD was a pretty monumental release for KE Arms back at the end of 2020 and although I have had two of their lowers for close to a year, I still haven’t been able to acquire all the parts to build out a complete rifle. If you’ve been struggling like I have to get all the correct parts for the build, maybe it’s time to just bite the bullet and purchase the completed rifle.

KE Arms WWSD Rifles are back in Stock and Shipping from Brownells
To be clear, Brownells has the genuine WWSD rifle in stock and not the less expensive and less true-to-form Civil Defense rifle. That being said, although the main focus of the WWSD rifle is the KP-15 lower receiver, the KE Arms WWSD rifle actually features a lot more components that make it the lightweight rifle that it is.
In addition to the lower, the WWSD (or WWSD 2020) features a drop-in SLT-1 Sear Link trigger, PDQ ambidextrous bolt release, a JP Silent Captured Spring System, and even includes the trap door butt plate that was released several weeks after the standard KP-15 lower. The upper receiver is similarly designed to be as lightweight as possible without sacrificing durability by featuring a carbon fiber handguard with M-LOK attachment points, a Faxon 16-inch barrel paired with a mid-length gas system, an A2 flash hider, and also includes a Young Manufacturing bolt carrier group with a slick chrome finish.
Although my two personal KP-15 lowers aren’t true to form, I’m still impressed by just how durable and lightweight the KP-15 lower is and I can’t wait to finish one of mine out to be a 1:1 replica of the one that Brownells currently has in stock. Each KP-15 from Brownells will be shipped with one 30-round polymer magazine for a price of $1,699.99.
