TFB Weekly Amazon Deals 34: Airgun Deals for Cheap Backyard Training

If anything is worth doing it is also probably worth overdoing… or maybe doing wrong altogether. As much as some of us may love kitting out or guns with cool accessories like grenade launchers, bayonets, aftermarket accessories of all kinds, and of course that sweet sweet Krylon paint job, some people just take it too far in my opinion, and create some of the weirdest and or disturbing gun accessories. Today for TFB Weekly Amazon Deals 18 we are going to take a look at some of the weirdest and disturbing gun accessories I’ve come across on the site and maybe it’ll give a couple of you an opportunity to buy one of your buddies an early Christmas gag gift. Let’s get weird.

Spec Ops – SPEC-K1-UR Tools Utility Knife with Retractable Blade

You guys all remember that warehouse shootout scene from John Woo’s Hard Boiled right? Well if you’ve ever found yourself in a warehouse minding your own business and all of a sudden a bunch of smoke grenades starts falling from the ceiling and you need a CQC weapon, look no further than the SPEC OPS SPEC-K1-UR Utility Knife. Equal parts weapon and box boy tool, the SPEC-K1-UR features MIL-SPEC drop testing, a shock-absorbing vented pistol grip, and of course, a GWOT approved desert tan color scheme. The SPEC OPS SPEC-K1-UR Utility Knife is available for $12.45 and comes with 5 spare blades.

Stinger Novelty Finger Sight Set, Front, and Rear Iron Sight Set

Are Magpul Backup Iron Sights too expensive and not stylish enough for you? Check out these gilded finger sights perfect for taking aim at your enemy while simultaneously telling them to f*ck off. I’ve seen a lot of these weird novelty sights floating around on the internet, usually from 3D printers, but until now I’ve never actually seen them sold online from a manufacturer. As weird as they are, I have to wonder how accurate you could be with them. This specific set of flamboyant finger sights is sold for $34.99 and is not windage or elevation adjustable and also probably not drop tested.

Tactical Pistol Grip Glove Cover Sleeve

I originally thought I had something clever to say about this thing with regards to how it turns your Glock into a B Movie Scifi Pistol Prop, but the longer I stare at it the more confused and baffled I am about just how impractical it would be to add to your Glock pistol (after all the Glock is perfect already, isn’t it?). The Tactical Pistol Grip Glove Cover Sleeve is unfortunately only available to fit one specific Glock generation – the Gen 4 with the finger grooves. Equally baffling was the fact that I didn’t even know this thing was intended as a holster (which there are a number of things that make it not that great of a holster candidate). To take the words right off the product page, the Tactical Pistol Grip Glove Cover Sleeve gives you “Convenience and reliability during raids or other special operations.”

Firefield Pistol Knife Bayonet

Yep… Some madman did it. I don’t know how badly you have to screw up to get to the point where you’re reduced to using a pistol mounted bayonet but in all honesty, I think I’d rather just die than be caught with that thing attached to my pistol (honestly you’d probably die anyway trying to use it). Firefield does make some pretty fine products but this is just one that I can’t imagine a single practical use for although I do really appreciate it for the novelty value it offers. The blade itself attaches to the dust cover of your handgun and features a stainless steel blade with a matte black finish and classic clip point. All this and more can be yours for just $28.99.

The Ride never ends!

Coming right off of Halloween I’m sure none of these things really shock you (although they might disgust you). However, these were just a couple items I’ve come across in my many hours of internet wandering and I thought I’d share them with you here. Let us know down in the comments some of the weirdest or odd gun accessories and gear you’ve come across on the net. Hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween and thanks as always for reading TFB.

There's nothing stupid about a utility knife, except the marketing in this case.

That Glock grip thing is supposed to be a foregrip that also doubles as a magazine carrier. It's airsoft grade crap, and you can get the exact same one for cheaper on Wish. I've never seen one made by any name brand company, they all come from no-name companies in China.

The Firefield bayonets have been around for years, like 10+ years. They were released sometime after the Laserlyte bayonet (the Laserlyte was released in 2009). From what I've read, it's not very good quality. On the plus side, there is a version with a 6 inch blade, which might actually be functional on a full length handguard rail.

And here I was thinking the colors on the grips of the SP-01's would be the stupidest thing I would see today.
