TacSol and Volquarsten have some competition with Radical Firearms’ relatively new RF-22.  Designed as an out-of-the-box accurized semiauto rimfire, the RF-22 features a Picatinny rail integrated with the receiver, a machined bolt and a match-grade threaded barrel with muzzle brake.  I’m not certain why a .22LR needs a muzzle brake, but I guess it looks cool while you wait for your silencer to get its stamp of approval.

Another Improved 10/22 Enters The Ring

The RF-22 comes with a 1 MOA or better accuracy guarantee (provided you’re not using garbage ammo). Pricing is much less than some higher end accurized 10/22-esque platforms, right at $649.99 MSRP.  This price is less than even some of Ruger’s 10/22 line extensions, making the RF-22 something to consider for consumers looking for an accurized platform that uses the Ruger 10/22 product ecosystem.  In fact, the trigger of the RF-22 is indeed a factory Ruger BX Trigger.
