Savage Arms is proud to announce that IMPULSE has been selected as the Rifle of the Year by Guns & Ammo Magazine. The American-made straight-pull rifle was chosen for the award by editors, contributors, and staff of the magazine.

The Savage Arms IMPULSE uses a straight-pull action. The bolt handle is ambidextrous and can be put in multiple positions. Each uses differing features to accomplish different goals, with the heart of the gun remaining the same. Savage winning an award from Guns & Ammo is no surprise. This win follows up their 2020 Shotgun of the Year win with the RENEGAUGE shotgun.
