I don’t know about you, but carrying a rigid, metal gun in a rigid, plastic holster can sometimes be uncomfortable. Depending on the position in which you carry your firearm, your setup can rub against your bones or skin. To help alleviate some of the discomforts of everyday carry, Galco Holsters has entered a new solution. Meant to be used as padding between you and your firearm, this is Galco’s MyCloud accessory for inside-the-waistband holsters.

Galco Holsters @ TFB:

Using the same Comfort Cloth™ technology as Galco’s highly successful line of high-performance Cloud inside the waistband holsters, the new MyCloud™ attaches to virtually any Kydex IWB holster to provide greatly enhanced comfort!

The NEW MyCloud For IWB Holsters From Galco

The MyCloud attaches to your existing holster with a very simple hook and loop system. The gun-facing side of the padding is covered in loop. This loop integrates with adhesive hook circles that attach to your holster. Five hook circles are included. This makes the MyCloud capable of being used on nearly any Kydex holster. On the inside, the MyCloud is made of closed-cell foam. On the body side of the pad, you’ll find Comfort Cloth, an Adaptive Performance Mesh that provides moisture-wicking benefits, as well as padding.

SPECS

  • Material: Closed-cell foam

Or, you could do what I do when I'm carrying under a T-shirt and just fold a basic beeyatch bandana into sixths and let belt/holster tension keep it in place between your holster and your waist.

Sure, you attach this to your holster and you can wear it against your skin all day long.... right. Anyone ever get a sore skin from the label of your shirt rubbing your neck? What will this sewn-in sharp edged Galco label do to your tummyskin? And why does it have to be there? Few people (if any) will ever see it and think "hmmm, I want such a pad". And what about those big stitches around the edge? Those are going to hurt after an hour in the sun. I too am waiting for shoulder holsters to become fashionable again.
