I think it’s safe to say that most of us have more than one long gun in the safe. Whether it’s a shotgun and an AR, multiple ARs, or some cool combo of them all, they need a sighting system. Red dots have become a standard for optics. Simple, reliable, and easy to use, they are ideal for turning up your Ricky Bobby. If you’re looking to add a red dot to a rifle without ringing out your checking account, Strike Industries is on your side. The first from Strike’s SIOPTO optics line, the SCOUTER is a contender at only $249.95.

The NEW SIOPTO SCOUTER From Strike Industries

The SCOUTER’s one-piece sight housing and its absolute height mounting base are both CNC machined out of 6061-T6 aluminum alloy. The red dot uses a collimated wedge lens with a multi-layer coating to keep your image crisp and clear. The battery housing, designed by SIOPTO, provides protection for the single CR2032 Li-ion battery. The SCOUTER boasts a two-year battery life on the #6 (of 11) brightness setting. Helping to boost that life, it also features a two-hour auto shutoff with shake-awake technology. The SCOUTER is not night vision compatible. It uses the Aimpoint T1/T2 footprint and comes with a 1913 mount.
