Ghost ring sights are a great way to get faster target acquisition on almost any platform. Midwest Industries has introduced a new series of Marlin ghost ring sights and rails that can integrate seamlessly with the Marlin 1894 and 1895 platforms. In addition to adding the ghost ring sights, the rig also adds in Picatinny rail mounting options that provide a co-witness with the ghost rings.

Midwest Industries Introduces Marlin Ghost Ring Sights
In total, there are two sight options for each model of Marlin lever action rifle available – Ghost Ring Rail and Ghost Ring T1. The Ghost Ring Rails have a short section of Picatinny rail on them and house the rear ghost ring sight. The Ghost Ring T1 series for both rifles will allow for both the ghost ring sights as well as an Aimpoint Micro T1/T2 interface for direct mounting a red dot sight.

The Ghost Ring T1 mounts for both the Marlin 1895 and Marlin 1894 are relatively the same aside from the position that the red dot mount fits within the mount itself. Due to design differences, the Picatinny rail on the Marlin 1894 Ghost Ring Rail sits at only 2.25-inches while the version of the rail for the Marlin 1895 features a longer 4-inch rail section. These rails and ghost ring sights seem to be a great way to add a lot of functionality to a time-tested design such as the lever action.
