Mission First Tactical is in the business of making affordable AR-15 accessories and they’ve recently released a new set of magazines specifically designed for the 7.62×51 NATO cartridge. The new MFG Extreme Duty Magazines are now available for use with SAAMI-spec 7.62×51 and .308 Winchester ammunition. The new magazines will be made available in both black and flat dark earth and according to Mission First Tactical, these magazines were made in cooperation with Frank DeSomma from Patriot Ordnance Factory and as such, these magazines are dedicated to his memory.

Mission First Tactical MFT Extreme Duty 7.62×51 NATO Magazines
The new Extreme Duty polymer magazines are made with Mission First Tactical’s next-generation long glass-fiber polymer which offers good strength, durability, and reliability. According to Mission First Tactical, the new magazines “exceed demanding military performance specs.” The new magazines feature a USGI-spec stainless steel spring which is corrosion resistant and is also paired with a four-way anti-tilt, self-lubricating follower.
The magazine features ribbed front and rear portions to provide better grip with gloves and also an oversized bolt-catch to increase bolt-hold-open reliability in semi-auto firearms. As with many other magazines that Mission First Tactical produces, the new 7.62×51 NATO magazines will also feature paint dot matrices for identifying each individual magazine and the same tool-less disassembly method as their 5.56 magazines.
20-round magazine
These magazines are designed to fit the AR10/SR25/M110 pattern rifles or other rifles that accept magazines for those rifles. The new Extreme Duty magazines will be available in 10-round, and 20-round capacities. The new Mission First Tactical Extreme Duty 7.62×51 NATO magazines are available for order now and are sold for $22.99 and $24.99.
