POTD: Danish 2nd Armored Infantry in Wild Leopard
Photo Of The Day – Established in 2014 this is TFB’s way to show carefully selected photographs on a daily basis. Today we have photos of the Danish Army’s 2nd Armored Infantry Battalion soldiers. They are conducting a live-fire exercise called “Wild Leopard”. The location is the well-known Grafenwoehr Training Area in Germany. The purpose of the exercise was to train platoon and company-sized infantry forces together in wooded and urban terrain
Danish soldiers within the Danish Army’s 2nd Armored Infantry Battalion, operate a CV9035DK infantry fighting vehicle during live-fire exercise Wild Leopard.
Typically Danish soldiers use the Gevær M/10 (Colt Canada C8 IUR rifle). They also use the Colt Canada C20 DMR and the M60 Machine Gun.
Note the flare gun below. Did you ever shoot one? What did you think? I remember shooting flares in the dark, good times.
As you know, we welcome comments in the intended section below.
