Welcome to TFB Podcast Roundup 8. This week we’re going to focus mainly on concealed carry. I recently got back from a trip where I received some really solid instruction on being more consistent, accurate, and quick when it comes to shooting semi-auto pistols. Concealed carry has become one of my favorite topics since I started writing for TFB and I think as Americans it’s possibly one of the more important subjects that don’t get talked about quite enough. Luckily for us, there are a ton of podcasts out there that have many experienced individuals who all have their own two cents when it comes to the subject. So crank up the volume, sit back and enjoy this week’s selection of podcasts focused on concealed carry.

TFB Podcast Roundup 8: Everyone Talks Concealed Carry
The American Warrior Show. Show # 263 – Coffee with Rich – Steve Washington Owner of Protection Tactics Firearms Training
Length: 90 Minutes
Subjects: Concealed carry talk with a USCAA instructor and owner of Protection Tactics Firearms Training
Coffee with Rich is a great podcast that offers a lot of variety and always has great guests. This week Rich talks with Steve Washington who is a veteran, concealed carrier, instructor, and father of four daughters. The guys on the podcast talk about how to create a proper environment for new students of the concealed carry world and how to identify and solve problems students are having when it comes to learning how to properly defend themselves.
Length: 51 Minutes
Subjects: Some good and some bad changes to firearms law in the United States that will affect future and potential concealed carriers
This week on the Concealed Carry Podcast, Riley Bowman and Matthew Maruster talk about a lot of new gun laws that are going into effect or might go into effect that might expose firearms manufacturers to potential lawsuits. The guys also talk about how certain rulings might nix the 21-year-old age requirement for handgun purchases in the United States.
Length: 25 Minutes
Subjects: Olympic shooting and an instructor selling a student the wrong gun
Gun Talk Radio is one of my more frequent listened to podcasts and this week we get to hear about some of our returning US Olympians who won gold medals at the Tokyo Olympics. Host Tom Gresham also talks about a harrowing tale of a firearms instructor who sells the wrong pistol to a very green firearms student.
Length: 19 Minutes
Subjects: Do you know the difference between a justified and unjustified use of deadly force?
Concealed Carry University is a newer podcast that focuses on specific cases where deadly force has been used and discusses the intricacies of each instance. This week our host talks about how a carjacking in the process ended up with an unjustified shooting in the eyes of the law. I think this one is going to be great for those who are newer to concealed carrying as it provides specific examples of both civilian and law enforcement shootings. The host is a retired law enforcement officer and FTO (field training officer) so his perspective on things is quite credible. The audio on this podcast isn’t the greatest but if you can get beyond that the 3 episodes I’ve listened to so far have been quite enlightening.
Length: 53 Minutes
Subjects: Host Mark and Captain Matt Bruce talk about Afghanistan and his prediction for how this situation will pan out
Armed American Radio is a bit more political and focused on recent events but they still have a ton of great content. In this segment of the AARDD podcast, Mark talks about the developing situation in Afghanistan and how things might pan out for Americans and the local population, and how it will shape American politics in the following months and years.
Length: 40 Minutes
Subjects: CZ USA’s firearm lineup as well as their less-known suppressor products
