Binoculars can seem like either an outdated or humdrum shooting or adventuring accessory to many but progress is still being made with each new variant that comes to the market. Vortex has just announced the introduction of their latest binocular offering – the Razor UHD 10×50 low light capable binoculars. The large 50mm objective lenses are what help this pair of binoculars give the user great image clarity and superb light transmission even in lower light conditions.

The Razor UHD lineup features user-adjustable diopters on both eyepieces and the center focus wheel adjusts the focus on both binocular barrels simultaneously. As an added feature, each of the eyecups is independently adjustable both up and down for easier use for those with eyeglasses. Other features include the capability to mount the binoculars to a tripod or car window mount, true open hinge construction which offers superior ergonomics while reducing weight and bulk, and a roof-mounted prism for greater durability and to further reduce the size of the binoculars.

Vortex states that the new Razor UHD binoculars are fog proof and waterproof which is great for snowy, wet, or otherwise inclement weather conditions. The chassis of the Razor UHD 10×50 is made from magnesium to reduce weight and is coated in Rubber Armor to provide a non-slip grip and to protect the exterior of the binoculars. Finally, the lenses are coated in Armor Tek which is an ultra-hard and scratch-resistant coating that protects the lenses from dust, scratches, and oil. The new Razor UHD 10×50 Binoculars are available now from Vortex’s network of distributors and will have an MSRP of $2,199.99.
