TFB Podcast Roundup 6: Everyone Hates the ATF Edition
Welcome to TFB Podcast Roundup 6. This week, we’re talking about everyone’s favorite three (or four) letter alphabet agency – the ATF. No matter what your stance on the agency is, I think everyone can agree that the various letters we’ve received over the last 8 months haven’t been positive. Since we don’t talk politics here on TFB, I’ll leave the discussion up to you and the various podcasters we’re showcasing this week. Speaking of podcasts, this last week we had our very own Adam S on the TFB Behind the Gun Podcast. Adam is a current staff writer for TFB and is also the current Managing Editor for Alloutdoor.com. If you’re into hunting or just general outdoorsman stuff, you might want to check out Adam’s podcast – he’s got a lot of experience as both a shooter and a hunter and he’s someone I’m happy to be able to call my friend.

TFB Podcast Roundup 6: Everyone Hates the ATF Edition
Length: 58 Minutes
Subjects: SOG Knives and the world’s first tactical suits
Just some friends who love fancy guns, gear, and beer. If you enjoy explosions and sick jokes, you’ll be right at home!
Hosted by Derrick Campbell
Length: 1 Hour 38 Minutes
Subjects: DLD Gang and Cody Wilson talk about flying under the radar of the ATF
The Dark Light Dugan podcast is a great unedited, unscripted, and unfiltered podcast that really gets to the heart and the humor that lies within the gun industry. The guys at DLD had the creator of the Liberator pistol – Cody Wilson – on the podcast back in January and I found it really fun to listen to after meeting him for the first time in person later that very same month. Cody is intelligent and a real advocate for the 2nd Amendment in no uncertain terms.
Length: 1 Hour 30 Minutes
Subjects: Perhaps the most infamous alphabet soup government agency in current existence
I happened by this particular podcast episode completely by accident while doing some research on some cigars I recently bought from one of the largest brick and mortar tobacco stores in the United States. The podcast normally covers reviews on all types of cigars and cigar accessories but today they talk a bit about the ATF and how they tend to get in the way a lot more than they help out. The biggest lesson I had to take away from this podcast is that our collective efforts do make a difference against the ATF and it seems like we can hold our ground on all fronts that the ATF tends to come at us with.
Length: 52 Minutes
Subjects: Michael (MrGunsNGear) and his views on politics, YouTube, as well as an in-depth look at his professional background
Michael is a great guy for a number of reasons but one of the main reasons I subscribe to his channel on YouTube is to keep abreast of any developments in regards to the ever-changing landscape of ATF regulations and letters. In this episode of the Higher Line Podcast (Hosted by Mickey Schuch), Michael talks with Mickey about his professional experience as well as some of his less palatable opinions on American politics which include the ATF.
Length: 1 Hour 5 Minutes
Subjects: BRAZEN, SENTRY 12, KILO 5K, LRP, ARES, PERF
If you’ve had enough of politics and the ATF, you can take a break with this one. The guys over at the Gun & Gear review podcast have a couple new firearms, and rangefinders to talk about this week and these guys are genuinely knowledgeable and precise when it comes to their assessment of new gear. The guys will also do reviews on armor and knives so if you’re interested in checking out some of the latest opinions on guns and gear on your way to work, these guys are a great place to stop and listen for that.
Length: 19 Minutes
Subjects: Adam S – Writer, Managing Editor, Hunter, Outdoorsman.

They can limit the hate by going after gangs running guns, straw purchasers, and criminals killing people rather than arbitrarily blocking imports, declaring random things illegal, and trying to make civilian possession legally dubious.
